My previous posts, dear reader, have been of a rather somber nature recently. Not because I am more somber but because of somber topics. These topics, one could say, all lived in a yellow somber-ine! I just cracked myself up. I’ll be back when I have calmed down a bit…

I am back, bringing tea. And are now calm enough to drink this tea. Mmmm!
This, dear reader, is the story of a boy. A boy in search of a light bulb. This boy, who was very attractive, I might add, and with a head full of luscious golden locks, was looking for a special bulb. The bulb for-told by the prophecies of Wife. The prophecies of Wife were very specific – go to the hardware store and get a bulb made from the LED plant. And so, this attractive, and rather muscular, boy did go to the store, in search of this special bulb.
When the boy, whose voice was as silky as Morgan Freeman’s on a good day, arrived at the store, he made haste towards the stock of bulbs. But an evil trick awaited him. For since his last trip out to the store, the grower of these bulbs of LED had changed their packaging! Oh, what an evil twist! A twist I bet you did not see coming. And if you claim you did see it coming, then I think that no, you did not.
While the boy, whose muscular, yet gentle, hands were clenching and unclenching, was deep in thought, a store minion appeared and offered his help. What did this employed beast want? Surely he cannot offer what I am looking for without a deal being struck! Yet, he did just that. The boy, who has the world’s best eyes, enquired about the special bulb.
“Bulb! Pink… You see, the house… And not bright!” Exclaimed the boy, his cheeks becoming crimson as he realized he was uttering nonsense at this store minion. After a deep breath, the boy, whose feet are the perfect size, made another attempt to converse with the, now bemused, store minion. “I am looking for a Phillips LED bulb that needs to be quite bright, you see.” The store minion gestured to the shelf right in front of the boy. There was the special bulb he was after! His quest was almost completed.
The boy, whose ears remind no one of a monkey, quickly took the special bulb to the cashier and left.
And so ends the story of how I bought a new LED bulb for my computer room.
