This is the story of a girl
Who cried a river and drowned the whole world
And while she looks so sad in photographs…
What it is, oh readers, when you find that special someone. How the world seems to change, how the butterflies assault you and how your feet don’t touch the ground. You notice the way her eyes sparkle when she laughs, and it matters to you. You find yourself listening to everything, least you miss the most important part, but alas, all is important.
This mythical creature whom you’ve found makes you think thoughts never thought. You wonder to yourself how no-one else can see the value of her. You want her to be only yours, but to even speak your desire would be to tempt the fates, and have her lost forever.
Ahh, then come the words, and they are the most beautiful thing you have ever heard. Your heart soars amongst the clouds, your breath plays hide and seek with you, and those butterflies mutiply in your stomach. Could this be? No, don’t question it, least it fleets from you.
Like a rare and precious flower you hold on to it, not to tight or it will break, and not to gently or the wind shall carry it away.
This my friends is a story about a girl. She cried a river and drowned the whole world. And while she looks so sad in photographs…
